Stoney LaRue plays medicine that combines the rootsy, emotionally honest sound of rural area with the beer-drinking cock of heartland rock and a dash of the helen Wills undercurrents of the vapors. LaRue was innate in Taft, TX, to a musical folk -- his padre played bass in a number of local bands -- and he grew up listening to the area and Southern tilt that would inform his later work. When he was a teen, LaRue's family pulled up bet for Oklahoma, and with time LaRue would turn share of the Stillwater, OK, "Red River Dirt" musical community, along with likeminded acts of the Apostles such as Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland, and Mike McClure. Forming a road band called the Organic Boogie Band, LaRue began storming honkie tonks and dancehalls in Oklahoma and Texas, winning a truehearted following for his passionate live shows, and in 2002 he released his first base album, Downtown, recorded during a concert for a especially invited audience at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, OK. The album was a solid career plug-in for LaRue and his chemical group, and they began expenditure most of the twelvemonth on the route, playing up to 300 dates a year, only in 2005 LaRue stayed in one place prospicient enough to book his first base studio disk, befittingly titled The Red Dirt Album, which earned enthusiastic reviews and throw off a stronger focus on LaRue's skills as a ballad maker. In the spring of 2007, LaRue released his third album, which was too his sec live plant -- Unrecorded at Billy Bob's Texas, recorded during a 2006 gig at the notable Fort Worth venue.

I grew up with Lenny Henry. Not literally - I don't remember him much from the children's show Tiswas, but I do commemorate laughing along toThree of a Kind.

Henry still has the power to pigeon berry fun at himself and his background signal and keep the audience rolling about laughing.

His modish stage showWhere You From? combines the best of Lenny Henry's stand-up with some of his

Lara Spencer - Obrien Officially Dropped As The Insider Actor

Pat O'Brien, the co-host of The Insider, whose frequent bouts with
alcoholism has made him the kind of celebrity that the show itself covers
nightly, has been demoted to a Los Angeles-based correspondent, with Lara
Spencer taking over officially as the show's sole anchor, CBS announced Friday.
O'Brien returned to rehab last February. Spencer, who has co-anchored The
Insider from New York, will move to California as part of a longterm pact,
executive producer Linda Bell Blue said in a statement. Blue included her
announcement of the anchor change in a statement announcing the conversion of
the show's production facilities to high definition. "We are once again making
history by being the first entertainment newsmagazines to move into HD. Lara is
essential to the exciting future of the show," Bell Blue said.
